How do I apply?
Applications are accepted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications will be reviewed from September 1st through January 1st.
How many positions are available?
We have four positions available annually.
Is a clinical year required?
Successful completion of a clinical year in an ACGME-accredited program is required (i.e., Transitional Year Residency, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Preliminary Surgery, etc.). Aultman Hospital has a Transitional Year Residency Program. Applicants need to apply to this program through ERAS and is a separate Match.
How are applicants selected for an interview?
Due to the number of applicants, screening criteria (board scores, strength of recommendation letters, publications, volunteer/leadership activities) have been developed to allow a numerical assignment that sets a bar above which applications are reviewed by members of the Selection Committee. Applicants selected to interview will be notified by mail or e-mail.
Do you accept foreign medical graduates?
Applicants are selected without regard to national origin, race, religion or sex.
Do you sponsor visas?
We sponsor both H-1B and J-1 visas.
